CSIT58 0958 Participation Credit 9/11: Issue and Conclusion and Files

Part 1: Issue and Conclusion Discussion (5 points)

In class we will form groups of 4 or 5. I will hand out an article, an issue and a conclusion to each group. The issue and conclusion will not be for the article you get.

Everyone in your group needs to read the article. Decide what you think the issue and conclusion for the article is as a group and write it down.

Go visit the other groups in the room. See if they have my issue or conclusion for your article. Take the slip of paper from the other group when you find it.

Have one of your group members log in to Etudes and go to the 9/11 Issue and Conclusion Discussion. Create a new Topic.

In the subject line, put the title of your group's article.

In the body of the message, type the issue and conclusion that your group came up with for the article.

Answer the following questions:

How close were you to my issue and conclusion? There are many ways to word the issue and conclusion. Yours might have been worded differently but saying the same thing. If you were way off, what led you on the wrong path?

Discuss the article and the conclusion a bit. Did your group agree with the article? Why or why not? Write a few sentences.

List the names of all of the group members at the end of the post.
