In this assignment you will:
Design and create a presentation about the Twitter microblogging service.
President Obama tweets. CNN tweets breaking news. The kids on my block tweet all day long. Twitter has even been hacked! Create a PowerPoint Presentation about Twitter. Explain what the service is and what you need to use it. List how Twitter could be useful in someone's everyday life. List how Twitter could interfere and not be useful.
Search the Web for information to use to build your presentation.
Try to use the 7X7 rule as you design this presentation (about 7 words per line, 7 lines per slide). Make sure the slide is readable and that the background color does not obscure the text.
Your presentation should include:
(2 points) A document theme (design template in Office 2003)
(2 points) A title slide with a descriptive title.
(2 points) Put your name and the class name in a shape on the title slide. Delete the old placeholder for the subtitle.
(24 points) Research Twitter on the Web and add at least 6 slides to the presentation based on the information you find. For example, you might add a slide about how Twitter can help someone find a job. There should not be any spelling or grammar errors.
(2 points) Include a bulleted list in at least one of the slides.
(4 points) Add at least 2 graphics (clip art or photograph) to the presentation.
(2 points) Format the title of one of the slides using a Quick Style. If you are using PowerPoint 2003, change the color of the font and background color of the title placeholder.
(2 points) Apply a slide transition to all slides.
